Moving Day

This is the last post I expect to make on WordPress. I’ve finished migrating all my comics to ComicFury, and all the adventures will continue there as usual. Join the fun at http://untitledbrickcomic.thecomicseries.com/ and as always, thanks for reading!

Chapter 6: Thinking With Portals | Part 3

This joke was more or less stolen from an Uncle Scrooge story titled “The Son of the Sun”.

Well, as indicated by the inconspicuous tagline under the comic’s title, I am moving the comic to a new site. I’ve had enough of WordPress. The editor sucks, there’s no exposure, and they autocorrect “WordPress” with a lowercase P to “WordPress” with an uppercase P when rendering the page. (Seriously. I just noticed that.)

To all of you who are reading this, I hope you’ll join me over at ComicFury. Once I’ve caught that site up to here, I’ll be discontinuing updates on WordPress and will only update on ComicFury. I’m actually really excited to be moving. Who knows, I might even get my first regular reader!

Chapter F1: Heroes By Necessity | Part 13

Gentlemen, behold…CORN!

Housekeeping note: I have no idea why, but WordPress just screwed up the look of my site without my consent. Now none of my buttons are centered, which annoys me more than you know. Thanks WordPress!

I’ve been growing dissatisfied with WordPress for a while. The editor is a pain in the neck to use, and the UI changes more often than the price of oil. Also, apparently it can be super easily hacked. I might begin looking around for a better place to host the comic, perhaps where it can be more easily discovered.

If I do choose to switch sites, I’ll keep updating here regularly until the hypothetical new site is caught up, and I’ll be sure to post a link if I do switch. Whatever happens, thanks for reading!

Chapter 6: Thinking With Portals | Part 1

Fun fact: Settlers on the Oregon Trail would churn milk into butter by leaving it on the back of the wagon. The milk would be automatically churned by the bumps on the trail.

Chapter B1: Benny Begins | Part 14

That’s supposed to be a sewer filled with water in panel 4. It didn’t turn out quite as well as I had hoped.

The next chapter of Mindy starts Thursday!
